So things have quieted down a little – but there’s only 5 months (to the day) left before the big departure! In the meantime, I’ve given the new wheels (kindly donated by W124 Works) a good scrub, fitted some roof bars, changed the spark plugs, got the various filters I plan on changing and generally fiddled.

I’m late with my weekly update;  I do realise it’s Tuesday already! No excuses, but it’s been a hectic week, both from a personal life/work life perspective and from a Timbuktu Challenge perspective…

A funny thing happened today on my way to work… while stuck in traffic on the M3, I noticed out of the corner of my eye a guy in a black Alfa staring at my car.

After spending my night babysitting a Qualys scan for a particularly risk averse customer, I still couldn’t sleep. The Mountain Dew crate I bought (now being produced in the UK) kept well and truly awake!

So I’ve copied some of the entries from the old blog to the new one…  Now I need to figure out a way to save the old and use the new instead…. without manually updating all the links!
