Company85 Lends a Hand!

Merry Christmas!

With only 2 days to go before the launch of group 1105 of the Timbuktu Challenge, things have been pretty stressed. We’ve been pressed for time to get those last minute things together… and we’re at a good point! We are also welcoming another sponsor to the team, which everyone is very grateful for!

The oil was changed on the car (0W-50, motorsport grade!); which was a big milestone as that’s the last service I needed a pit or ramp to carry out. The only things left are quite simple, air filter, fuel filter and some off-road lights to brighten up the night! (and the minor detail of seeing if we can actually fit everything in the car)

While all that was happening, Company85 came in and offered to help towards the cost of the fuel to get the car to the charity auction – with a donation of £200! For those that don’t know Company85, the easiest way to describe them is in the words of their CEO’s words “A Startup on Steroids”. They sprouted from a MBO of Symantec’s UK Consulting teams, and have gone from success to success in the IT Consulting world. I would appreciate if you could all take a moment and send them a blank, signed purchase order before Christmas 😉
