TeamBookTwo… to Timbuktu!

First Official Pictures of the Car!

I’m late with my weekly update;  I do realise it’s Tuesday already! No excuses, but it’s been a hectic week, both from a personal life/work life perspective and from a Timbuktu Challenge perspective…

So, over the weekend we had the launch party, which was great fun. Apart from almost burning a car down, burning a tyre, spilling more wine that is healthy and constantly going from freezing cold to boiling hot it was b usiness as normal really!  Pictures below….

We also got to Land’s End, which was rainy and extremely windy; but fun none-the-less…  and I must say, the Bacon & Egg roll on Bodmin Moor was absolutely fantastic! I want another!

I’m afraid I’m not going to type much, and let you enjoy the pictures instead… that said, to those people I did meet at the Launch Party – I’m afraid I put my trousers in the washing machine… including the paper with all your contact details! Drop me an email when you get a chance!

Hey – nice blog, just looking around some websites, seems a really nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my websites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it? I was just doing some surfing on my iPhone during my lunch at my work place, and I came across something I thought was interesting . It linked to your website so I came over. I can’t really figure out the relevance between your site and the one I came from, but your site good none the less .

Hey we was just viewing your website on my Garmin Phone and I was wondering how good it will work on the new ipad coming out . Fleeting thought…. Anyway thanks!

Michele: Don’t know how it’ll work on the iPad. I’m afraid I also don’t care how it’ll work on the iPad.

Thanks for an idea, you sparked at thought from a perspective I hadn’t considerd before . Now lets see if I can do something productive with it.

Random question: I am starting my own blog to share my photography experiences. Do you find it hard or easy to post consistently?

Michele: It really depends on what is going on in my life. I do try to post at least once a week though.

If you could e-mail me with a few suggestions on just how you made your blog look this excellent, I would be grateful.

Michele: Thank you! Nothing much really… I started with our old website idea, found a template that was similar to what I wanted and then modified it to fit exactly my “bill”. From a content perspective – I’ve just typed as I would speak… informal and way too much :p Hope this helps…
